Cycle the Sinai Desert

Dates: TBC 2008

Cycling in the Sinai desertThe challenge starts in Cairo with a visit to the Pyramids, Egypt’s most visited monument and one of the world’s greatest tourist attractions. Having marveled at this man-made wonder you’ll head straight to the Sinai Desert for some incredible natural beauty.
By day you’ll cycle past a labyrinth of colourful canyons which give way to rugged granite mountains.  On two nights you’ll camp out beneath the stars.  One of the highlights is an optional climb of Mount Sinai where, according to the Bible, Moses received the Ten Commandments.  You will finish this memorable cycle challenge on the shores of the Red Sea for some well-earned relaxation.
